How Free Tools handle your files
Each tool explains its file handling near the workflow. The details below distinguish selected file bytes from network requests used to load processing components.
Subtitle tools
Subtitle files are parsed, transformed, and generated in browser JavaScript. File names, subtitle text, and output are not sent to Voice2Sub.
Media tools
Media files are processed in a browser Worker. The tools download versioned processing components from the Voice2Sub CDN, but the selected media bytes are not uploaded to that CDN.
Processing-component network requests
Media tools may download versioned JavaScript, Worker, WASM, and other processing resources from the Voice2Sub CDN. Those requests are separate from the selected media bytes.
Analytics
This Free Tools site does not include usage analytics. If analytics are added later, file names, subtitle content, media bytes, and extracted metadata must remain excluded.
Browser memory
Media processing may copy selected bytes into browser memory and a temporary processing filesystem. Size warnings, cleanup, cancel, and reset behavior remain part of the processing flow.
